2018 Winners in PBX Customer Satisfaction Study

New customer satisfaction research by the Eastern Management Group shows RingCentral, Xorcom, Mitel, and Cisco are top-ranked PBX providers.
 
New York, NY (February 25, 2019) – A new Eastern Management Group research study of more than 3,000 PBX customers finds that several hosted PBX and premises PBX providers are tops in customer satisfaction. The survey conducted by Eastern Management Group focuses on 16 providers. They are 3CX, 8x8, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Avaya, Cisco, Digium, Huawei, Mitel, NEC, NetFortris, Nextiva, Panasonic, RingCentral, Unify, Vertical Communications, and Xorcom. 
 
The 16 vendors researched are providers of hosted PBX (cloud), hybrid PBX (cloud and premises), IP PBX, traditional PBX, and server virtualization – or multiple PBX platforms. The survey examines 10 Customer Satisfaction Measurements under the canopy of Product, Vendor Experience, and Customer Delight. All of the study findings and customer satisfaction scores are in a new Eastern Management Group report "2018 Premises and Hosted PBX Customer Satisfaction".
 
Some of the 2018 customer satisfaction leaders are RingCentral for hosted PBX, Xorcom for premises PBX, and little known Vertical Communications a highly regarded jack-of-all-trades SMB provider. Cisco and Mitel both score well for mid-market and enterprise PBX satisfaction. While Cisco is better known for the company’s premises PBX offers, Mitel is a provider of cloud and premises platforms.
 
According to John Malone, President of Eastern Management Group "This is one of the largest customer satisfaction studies of its kind and is distinguished by the simultaneous judging of cloud and premises PBXs. We’ve learned from the findings that many customers have no preferred platform type, just preferred vendors”. 
 
The Eastern Management Group research was conducted worldwide and covered more than 20 vertical industry markets. The more than 3,000 businesses interviewed ranged in size from fewer than five employees to more than twenty thousand.
